Dacă veșnicia s-a născut la sat, pacea interioară s-a născut lângă un râu.

Piesă de artă sonoră creată prin improvizații folosind înregistrări de teren (field recording) conținând sunetele râului Someș din Cluj și câteva efecte audio. Aproape de-a lungul întregii piese puteți auzi înregistrarea originală cât și piesa „reciclată”, modulată — la fel cum „știm” despre prezența râului în oraș, mai ales în centrul Clujului, dar pe care nu o auzim din cauza poluării cu zgomot.

Înregistrările de teren au fost făcute în octombrie 2018 și conțin sunetele Someșului, vântului, podurilor și vehiculelor care creează peisajul sonor din jurul râului.

Sound River

Piece of sound art created by improvising with field recordings containing the sounds of the Someș River in Cluj and some audio effects.

Throughout the piece you can almost always hear the original field recording and the “recycled”, modulated track too – just the way we “know” about the presence of the river but most of the time we don’t hear her because of the noise pollution.

The field recordings were made in October 2018 and contain sounds of the water, wind, bridges and vehicles that create the unique soundscape and atmosphere around the river throughout the city.
